Rendered from onsite sketches at the Marina du Vieux Port in Marseille. I was suffering from mild seasickness, a first for me. All I wanted was to sit still. My travel companion sat beside me and brought me something to settle my stomach. After the first sketch we walked to an Italian restaurant for pasta. He was convinced I was going to be sick. I told him confidently that if pasta can't fix it nothing will.
It actually helped. Getting home that night took a long time, with several stops just to be still. But I had a great companion and ended up with a lot of great sketches.
